Michael Stewart, the award-winning Bradford-based writer, leads this special writers’ walk through Wild Uplands in Penistone Hill Country Park.
There’ll be readings and discussions about both the artworks and the landscape, which inspired the Brontës more than 200 years ago, followed by a writing workshop at the Old School Room in Haworth. The walk is open to writers of all styles, abilities and experience.
Note: the walk will be fairly strenuous, with some hills and gradients to navigate, and rocky uneven paths. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for all weathers.
