Take a walk back in history visiting Victorian crime scenes across Bradford City centre, hosted by our knowledgeable museum guide, Alan.
Immerse yourself in the curious world of 19th century murders, robberies, poisonings and more. Hear about Bradford’s own great train robbery, learn about three boys who were convicted of stealing crows in Wibsey, and Black Toppin who was arrested for stealing sheep in Westgate. Dive into the story of Esther Neal who was discovered above her corset shop at 14 Darley Street having died of internal bleeding and find out who was to blame...
The tour is an entertaining walk, telling and showing some interesting and strange facts about Bradford's little known past.
Our expert tour guide Alan will guide you through the streets of Bradford, each with your own personal museum audio devices so you wont miss a thing! The walk is a gentle stroll outside, and appropriate clothing is recommended.
Tours start and finish at The Bradford Police Museum and typically lasts around 90 minutes.
