The poetry of Emily Brontë was written in secrecy. Nearly two-hundred years later, it still exerts a unique power over its readers. Join us as we trace the history of its publication and its precious manuscripts, examining deeply a few of the key poems from Emily’s ‘soul diary’. This talk will be given during Haworth Festival by author and Brontë Parsonage Museum voluntary guide Tamar Yellin.
