First light, first note: Paraorchestra and Commoners Choir gather on Ilkley Moor to begin The Bradford Progress.
Our sonic journey across the district begins with a dawn musical ritual at the ancient Cow & Calf Rocks high on Ilkley Moor.
See in the sunrise with 27 members of Paraorchestra performing Handel’s ‘Eternal Source of Light Divine’, before Commoners Choir set off across Ilkley Moor to start our two-day musical trek to the centre of Bradford.
Every musical moment on The Bradford Progress is free with no booking required. But don’t be late for this one – the sun won’t wait for you.
Part of The Bradford Progress, an unbroken two-day musical journey across Bradford District created by Paraorchestra, artistic director Charles Hazlewood, artist Jeremy Deller and the people of Bradford.
