Celebrate poetry, heritage, and soulful connection at our Sufi inspired open mic and reading event. All are welcome to join!
Join us at Sufi Sounds: An Afternoon of Heritage & Poetry for a relaxed and reflective gathering celebrating Sufi thought and expression.
Hosted by poet and educator Nabeela Ahmed, this special open mic event invites you to experience an afternoon of soulful readings and community connection. Featured local poets Amaan Shazaad, Kauser Mukhtar, and Raees Habib will share their work, exploring timeless themes such as love, patience, and spiritual reflection that lie at the heart of Sufism.
After a short break, the floor will open to anyone who wishes to share a piece of poetry, either original or beloved, that speaks to the values of connection, compassion, or self-discovery.
Alongside the performances, the space will feature local creative stalls, offering unique handmade goods and artwork. Light refreshments will also be available.
Whether you're a poet, a listener, or simply curious, this is an open, inclusive space to feel inspired, connect with others, and celebrate the beauty of words.
