The Sufi Music Heritage Festival offers a weekend of cultural exploration, creativity, and performance for all ages and backgrounds. This vibrant series of events brings together soul-stirring performances, hands-on workshops, and an educational exhibition each one a tribute to the spirit of Sufism.
Wander into the main hall to discover a colourful marketplace of creativity, where talented artisans, craft makers, and skilled mehndi artists showcase their beautiful work. Treat your senses to more than just music! Enjoy a delicious, Sufi-inspired menu and refreshing drinks, lovingly prepared by Hubert Kitchens, available exclusively at WomenZone.
An illustrated exhibition offering insight into Sufi music, instruments, and heritage will be on display throughout the day, alongside film screenings that explore Sufi culture, history, music, poetry and movement. Families can take part in creative children’s workshops including lantern making, mosaic art, and family tree activities which encourage artistic expression while introducing key Sufi values. There will also be an opportunity for mothers to take part in mother and baby yoga with Malena Monteverde. There will also be performances from Youth Zone who have developed their interpretation of Sufi music under the guidance of creative practitioner Madiha Ansari.
This event brings together music, art, literature, and food to provide a multifaceted experience of Sufi heritage. Please book each session individually to ensure your participation in the activities of your choice.
