During this relaxed and interesting Saturday morning workshop at ‘The Classroom’ on the iconic Main Street in Haworth, I will introduce to you the beautiful medium of pastel. I’ll help with your drawing skills and build confidence with the pencils whilst we tackle a beautiful subject together. (The subject is one we all draw together and is chosen beforehand for this workshop.)
I gently walk you through each step of the drawing from the initial outline through to the final little details. I’ll talk to you about the process of pastel work, my favourite brands and how to get the best out of your materials.
This full day workshop is designed for beginners and improvers, but no experience is expected. I will provide all the materials you will need and as always, guided gently in my relaxed style.
To ensure I am able to spend as much time as possible with each attendee, this workshop is limited to a maximum of 8 people.
Tea, coffee and soft drinks are provided along with a selection of cakes.
