Come and see the work of textile artist Pauline Caulfield at The Home, Salts Mill, Saltaire during 2025
The three works – Cascade, Garden and Odeon - are installed in The Home’s 20,000 square foot former Victorian factory space – once full of looms, now full of an unparalleled range of European furniture and international home accessories. Caulfield’s design signatures - bright colours, bold shapes, total mood uplift – look superb amongst the cast iron columns and barrel vaulted ceilings in this temple of design.
ABOUT PAULINE CAULFIELD
Octogenarian Pauline was a stand-out star of her cohort at the Royal College of Art.
One week after graduating, she married the painter Patrick Cauflield.
Art soon made way for childcare.
Caulfield has been making up for it ever since, designing and printed bespoke window and wall hangings, treading a fine line between art and design.
Today, collectors love to display Caulfield’s joyful works in their homes. Alongside the hangings and curtains she has also created a portfolio of ecclesiastical textiles, including vestments and altar frontals.
Pauline lives and works in Primrose Hill in North London.
