Outdoor Creative Workshops in Keighley

24 Jul - 24 Aug 2024

11:00 - 16:00

Keighley Creative

Over the summer holidays, Keighley Creative will be touring The K-Town Cart – Keighley’s Unique Mobile Arts and Heritage Stall – around town.

Join us as we explore the heritage of Keighley with our outdoor creative workshop series. This is a unique opportunity to engage with your local heritage through a range of activities, including drawing, writing, visual arts and conversation. The events also offer the opportunity to find out more about how you can be a part of Kala Sangam’s exciting Arts and Heritage Community project!

Our touring workshop, “The K-Town Cart”, is a vibrant mobile art stall that will be popping up in various locations throughout Keighley including Bracken Bank, Highfield and Long Lee. This interactive space will host a series of outdoor pop-up workshops, where local people can participate in fun and engaging activities that celebrate your heritage.

What to Expect
Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and accessible to all ages and abilities. Each session will be led by experienced artists and facilitators who will guide you through a range of activities, from drawing and writing to visual arts and conversation. Our aim is to create a safe and welcoming space where you can share your stories, memories and experiences and connect with others who share your passion for your local heritage.
