- Wednesday 2nd April 2025: CONTINUUM

- Wednesday 2nd July 2025: OFF AND ON AGAIN
Zine Club is held on the first Wednesday of each month between 7pm and 8.30pm in the Short & Few Cabin. It is kind of workshop, kind of coffee evening, but mostly time and space to take a moment for yourself and do a bit of cutting, sticking, thinking, relaxing or visually off-loading.
Each month we’ll independently respond to a group theme and each create a zine with immediate results, using a different book binding technique each month. It’s an opportunity to explore, express, investigate, protest, reflect – everyone is welcomed to interpret the theme in their own way through subject matter or visual approaches.
Your £15 covers all materials, including: book binding tools, washi tapes, sticker papers, cutters and punches, drawing and mark making tools, typewriters… we’ll raid the Short & Few cupboards and use all the stuff! Take away whatever you make.
You can leave whenever you need to, so don’t feel you need to stay for the full duration. We’ll do a little show and tell at the end, but no one is obligated to participate if they don’t want to. There’s plenty of on-street parking, and public transport within 15 minutes walk.
There’s only 5 chairs around the table, so it’s limited in that way – but in no way exclusive. Anyone who wants some down time to cut and stick and explore zine making is welcome. Booking is essential to reserve your spot and prepare materials. Booking T&Cs apply.
