Millennium Way Walks – the third walk led by Midweek Wayfarers

1 Mar 2025

10:30 - 15:00

Cullingworth War Memorial / Cullingworth bus terminus

Distance: 7.0 miles

Brief Description: We will leave from Cullingworth War Memorial (What3words ///cult.valve.musically) aiming towards Goit Stock wood, We will then walk up the valley passing Goit Stock waterfall - a hidden gem. We continue up the valley passing Hewenden reservoir and eventually reaching Denholme Village.

We climb up Denholme Edge, with its fine views and descend through open countryside back to Cullingworth.

Difficulty: The route is moderately difficult: it is early in the year and care is needed on one or two paths. Many are quite muddy.

Clothing: Appropriate clothing and footwear should be worn.

Food: Bring a packed lunch and a drink. A hot drink would be a good idea. There are cafes and a pub in Cullingworth at the end of the walk.
