Back by very popular demand… a very personal and special workshop where you turn YOUR best friend into a piece of treasured art.
During this relaxed and interesting full day workshop at ‘The Classroom’ on the iconic Main Street in Haworth, I will introduce to you the beautiful medium of pastel. I’ll help with your drawing skills and build confidence with the pencils whilst we tackle a very personal portrait together.
I gently walk you through each step of the drawing from the initial outline through to the final little details. I’ll talk to you about the process of pastel work, my favourite brands and how to get the best out of your materials.
This full day workshop is designed for beginners and improvers, but no experience is expected. Experienced artists perhaps wanting to give pastels a try are also very welcome! I will provide all the materials you will need and as always, guided gently in my relaxed style.
To ensure I am able to spend as much time as possible with each attendee, this workshop is limited to a maximum of 8 people.
A full afternoon lunch and refreshments are also provided for you during your day with me. (Please advise of any dietary requirements.)
