Would you like to have the unique opportunity of drawing a real-life ballerina?
This week the Tuesday Portrait Group are hosting a ballerina who will model for us.
Informal tuition and support is available if you need it.
COST
You pay on the day. You can pay as much as you feel you are able depending on your circumstances and we suggest somewhere between £10 (minimum) and suggested £12 to £15 for today's session. You can pay with cash or by card.
TIME
We start drawing at 13:30 and finish at 15:30pm with a short break at about 14:45 for tea and coffee, which is included in the price.
WHAT TO BRING
You will need to bring all your own drawing materials and paper.
Given that this is a public space the ideal materials to bring are: pencils, charcoal, oil pastels, watercolour, acrylic or gouache paints depending on your inclination for the day.
Pastels, if they create dust, and oil paint are not suitable for use in this space.
EASELS
We have several easels and drawing boards thanks to Bradford Senior Power should you wish to use these and enough be available for everyone.
You may find it easiest to bring a sketch book with a solid back to it rather than loose paper.
BOOKING ESSENTIAL
To book a place for this session (there will be a maximum of 10 artists per session) please contact Martin Cosgrove, Fine Artist 07 868 529 434
ACCESS
Please note that the life room in Keighley Creative is up lots of steps and there is no lift so you will need a pair of legs, lungs and a heart that can carry you up the steps. Once we move to the new permanent building there will be full access.
HOW TO FIND US
Keighley Creative is currently in the old Argos Store on Cooke Lane opposite New Look and Hays Travel and between the Airedale Centre and the old Farm Foods shop.
