As part of our mini-season celebrating its 85-year anniversary, we are screening THE WIZARD OF OZ.

A Kansas farm girl named Dorothy ends up in the magical Land of Oz after she and her pet dog Toto are swept away from their home by a cyclone. Upon her arrival in the magical world of Oz, she learns she cannot return home until she has destroyed the Wicked Witch of the West. With 98% on Rotten tomatoes, this hugely successful family favourite is celebrating its 85th year in 2024, this is a rare big screen outing of the first film made of the novel. It has gone on to bring forth further novels, a musical and the basis of another musical, the global phenomenon that is Wicked.
