Join us on 25 April to hear Lucia Smith’s lively story of her quest to paint all the Yorkshire Dales and what she discovered.
Several years ago, artist Lucia Smith set out on a ‘quest’ to paint all of the Named Dales of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. She discovered a lot more than she anticipated: fun stories, puzzling names, historical facts, lots of geology and glorious geography. Her lively talk walks us through it all.
Tickets to attend the talk in person are £5 and can be purchased via TicketTailor or in person at the Box Office on weekends when Ilkley Manor House is open. Tickets may be available on the door but will be subject to availability.
Arrive at Ilkley Manor House at 10:15am to have time to get a hot drink and biscuit. The talk will start at 10:30am, lasting roughly an hour, with time for questions at the end.
