A family friendly event in Peel Park, close to central Bradford. Live music, performance art, bubbles, face painting, bouncy castles, stalls, games, community kitchens, a smoothie bike, free fruit and soft drinks, guest visits by emergency services, and lots of laughter.
Many of the attractions are laid on by refugee and migrant community groups, and many others by local community organisations. A joyful and wonderful event. Everyone is welcome; there is no entry fee, and no charges for any attractions, food, or drink at the event. It is being organised collaboratively by local voluntary sector organisations and individuals with the support of Bradford Council’s Stronger Communities initiative.
If you would like to get involved in the organisation of the event, or running an activity or stall on the day, or volunteering as a steward or litter picker, email rwggt.bradford@gmail.com
