Don’t miss this fascinating tour of The Bradford Police Museum, where you can stand in the police cells that featured in the TV hit, Peaky Blinders, and the police cell from which Harry Houdini escaped!
The tour will take you to the original Victorian prison cells that now form part of Bradford Police Museum, many of whose occupants were destined for the noose between 1874 and 1974.
The museum is located in the historic City Hall, where you will get a unique insight into the history of policing and the development of crime and punishment in Bradford, from the early 19th century to the present day.
The tour includes entry to the museum’s newly launched exhibition, Diversity & Policing: A Shared History, which highlights the history and evolving story of the relationship between the police and Bradford’s communities over the last 50 years.
