Join us for a two hour guided stroll through the centre of Bradford, one of the UK's youngest, culturally diverse and historically rich cities – the UK City of Culture 2025.
We’ll explore Bradford’s history, origins, and its transformation into the city it is today. Once one of Europe’s wealthiest cities, its Victorian architecture stands as a legacy. Known for technological innovation in both the textile industry and the film industry, Bradford earned the title of Wool Capital of the World and became the World’s first UNESCO City of Film.
The city has a strong record of supporting humanitarian causes and inspiring social reformers. Built on trade and migration, this city couldn’t be more Yorkshire. Let us peel back the layers and invite you to discover this fascinating city during its year of celebration.
