Victoria Wharton is an Executive Producer at Rope Ladder Fiction, where she drives bold, high-impact storytelling across television, film, and theatre. She is currently Executive Producing Flint for BBC Films, developing a provocative new drama for the BBC, and leading cutting-edge HETV projects with major international streamers.
At Rope Ladder Fiction, makers of Waterloo Road for BBC One, development is dynamic, writer-focused, and uncompromisingly ambitious. The company runs a laser-focused slate, working with writers in a bespoke way to unlock their boldest visions. Passionate about emerging talent, Rope Ladder embraces short films as a fearless space for innovation—recent projects include Osoro (Sheila Nortley) and Surprise, Baby! (Zane Igbe).

Previously, Victoria was Head of Sky Studios Leeds, where she led drama development for Sky Max and Sky Atlantic while spearheading innovation in immersive and virtual production, forging key partnerships across NBCU and Comcast.
