Snake Davis is on his own tonight, an informal acoustic evening of music and chat in two parts.
In Part 1 he’ll have his musical instrument family with him, the whole range of saxophones plus flutes, whistles, steel handpan, didjeridoo and the Japanese Shakuhachi. Relaxed and intimate, questions are encouraged.
Part 2 ‘My greatest hits’. Snake has a dual career. He tours and releases music as himself, and as a session player. On the session-man front he’s been at no.1, top of the charts twice over the last year, with Olly Murs and Shania Twain. Tonight he’ll perform some of his best known sax solos, played in context and with a few words on how they came about.
