In 1904, as part of the Great Exhibition, a group of Somali men, women and children came to Bradford and lived in a model village in Lister Park. They attracted an enormous number of visitors. Join this talk to hear about the stories and experiences of this forgotten group, Bradford’s earliest-known Muslim community.
