Bradford Music Month

Music Month is a month-long celebration of Bradford’s vibrant music scene, supported by Bradford Producing Hub & Bradford Council. Kicking off in November, this inaugural event will cast a spotlight on a diverse array of live music events across the city centre. Local musicians, promoters, and venue owners are encouraged to contribute to the festivities by submitting their event ideas and performances.

One of the driving forces behind Music Month is Bradford’s rich musical heritage and its upcoming status as the UK’s City of Culture 2025. The festival aims to celebrate the district’s diverse music scenes by offering something for everyone, previously including bhangra and bassline raves, pop up opera performances, world music showcases, and wellness-oriented music workshops. The event has the potential to connect the community, entertain a wide range of audiences.

Led by key figures in the music industry such as Musician and Bradford Music Lead Sinead Campbell, as well as live music venue and events production manager Gail Simpkins, Music Month is designed to be a dynamic and engaging celebration of all things musical in Bradford. With the ongoing redevelopment of Bradford Live and major cultural events on the horizon, Music Month promises to be a flagship musical offering for the city, and an exciting preview of what the Bradford music scene has to offer.
