Common Space is a flexible city centre venue and rehearsal space. We have hosted everything from film screenings to open mics, drag nights to family fun days. Our space is colourful, comfortable and central.
Common Space is the day to day home of Common Wealth Theatre Company and Castles In The Sky, Bradford’s dedicated LGBTQ+ arts development and showcasing organisation.
Access
Common Space is a step free space, we have a wheelchair accessible bathroom on the ground floor and a second wheelchair accessible bathroom and cubicles on the first floor which is accessible via stairs and a lift.Our downstairs wheelchair accessible bathroom has baby changing facilities.
We have a dedicated quiet space and a rooms available for prayer.
Stim toys and ear defenders are available for use at the venue.
We use air purifiers during events as our main space does not have windows that can be opened.
Equipment
We have a PA system, microphones, a sound desk and a lighting rig with LED strips, stage lights and party lights.
