Epic Yorkshire Showcase

2 Aug 2025

11:00

Pictureville Cinema

Join us at Pictureville on Saturday 2 August for an Epic Yorkshire celebration!

We’re inviting everyone to experience the very best of our cinema - and our county - with a full day featuring free screenings, special events and giveaways.

Discover hidden gems from our friends at Yorkshire Film Archive, revel in a luscious print of Phantom Thread, and be swept away by a stunning Yorkshire travelogue projected on our Cinerama screen.
It’s the perfect way to begin our Epic Yorkshire film season – a screen celebration of the place we call home.

To make the day even more special, we’re giving away free Epic Scran Bags packed with treats from local producers, plus our brand-new City of Film map to help you start your own cinematic adventure across Bradford.

Screenings on the day include:

📚 Kids’ Club: Bill [With craft workshop]
Make your own Thaumatrope toy at this family friendly comedy about Shakespeare.

Free Screening
🎥 Social Cinema
A programme of short films from @yfanefa exploring the social and political issues that resonate with our past and future.
