Summer Sounds, Bradford 2025’s music weekender, gets under way with an immersive day of rhythm, energy and radical connection through sound.
Expect ganayva’s soulful sounds, Panjabi rave aces Jawani Nights and the bang-bang sounds of Dhol Academy.

Metz n Trix, pioneers of the contemporary British Asian music scene
ganayva, one of the hottest acts on the scene, blending spiritual jazz and South Asian devotional music
Ustad Noor Bakhsh, legendary Pakistani maestro of the Balochi benji
Jasmine Jethwa’s folk-tinged alternative pop
Inder Goldfinger x SilverFinger Singh, father-son duo pairing the legendary producer (Fun-Da-Mental et al) with the singer and BBC Radio Leeds presenter
Dhol Academy, drumming kingpins since 1994
…Plus Panjabi rave promoters Jawani Nights, BBC Asian Network’s DJ Kizzi, Rinse FM’s Arthi, deep club cuts from DJ Manara, Nepalese producer–DJ YZYN, Bassline MC S Dog and more to be announced.
It’s all curated for Bradford 2025 by Dialled In, longstanding champions of the South Asian underground.
