This class is designed for runners, athletes and active people to support their training, racing and active lifestyle.
Different styles of yoga and movement are used to provide strength and conditioning, release tension, maintain/improve joint mobility and aid recovery.
The aim of these sessions is to offer prehab and help you to be proactive about body maintenance. We want to keep on top of niggles and keep injuries at bay.
Is it Suitable for Beginners: The class is suitable for beginners and yoga regulars. Instructions are clear and don’t require a knowledge of the names of yoga poses. Instead, you will be guided you through movements using anatomy, direction and function.
There are always options offered to adapt or advance poses and you are encouraged to adjust to what your body can do and what you feel is beneficial.
Is it Only for Runners? It's designed to be an all round class to support running, training and racing – although it’s planned with runners in mind, anyone is welcome and can benefit from the class.
Equipment: You can bring your own mat if you have one. We do have mats and equipment available that you are welcome to borrow.
Booking on to the Class: Booking is advised. You are welcome to drop in without booking, but we can't promise there'll be space.
