Aswad Arts present their new mixtape style compilation, Bhangra Niche 2, fusing the sound of Bhangra and bassline.
Following the popularity of their previous compilation, Bhangra Niche 1 back in 2010, and thanks to a recent revival in the genre, expect an evening of warping basslines mixed with traditional Bhangra music.
Budding young Bradford DJs will also present sets of their own, alongside young rappers from the district, who have all honed their skills through Aswad Arts’ StreetSounds programme, supported by Bradford Youth Service.
