Connecting Communities- Bowling Park Food, Fun, Arts and Crafts.

A fun family event held during Refugee Week aimed at building bridges with communities.

Come and engage in a family fun day aimed at all communities.

With a variety of activities including face painting, Mehndi, Moomin Arts and crafts and some small bites.

All activities will run from 11am to 3pm unless specified

We have planned a packed day which will include:

Bolling Museum : Arts trail
The Case of the Cheeky Boggart - an arts trail with a twist -with clues to solve.
Miroslav - Early years creative activity
Sonia - Mehndi Art- Come and explore the beautiful art of Henna
11.30am-2.30pm
Salma- Facepainting- Bring your kids and get your face decorated
with Art
Jane - Moomin Art for all - come and explore Moomin Art for Refugee Week

Creative activities for young kids

Yoga in the Park: 1pm with Hopon
REN- Come and engage with Fatima in a Book Club session exploring
refugee writers
West Yorkshire Police - James and co-worker - a general walk and
talk with the crowds about the role of the Police
Fire Safety Brigade - A water safety demonstration with a fire
crew by Bowling Lodge Cafe

City Of Sanctuary
Meet and greet the COS team

All children need to be accompanied by an adult.
Some snacks and drinks available on the day.
