Join us on 4 April to experience the heartfelt storytelling and evocative melodies of The Breath.
Formed in 2016, the Manchester-based duo consists of guitarist Stuart McCallum and singer/flautist Ríoghnach Connolly. Their music blends alt-folk, Irish influences, and cinematic soundscapes, with Connolly’s powerful, emotive voice and McCallum’s intricate guitar work creating a compelling contrast.
"Folk roots but different horizons... the jaw-droppingly stunning, woozy voice of Ríoghnach Connolly." ~ The Guardian
Connolly’s captivating performances earned her an RTÉ Folk Award nomination and the title of BBC Folk Singer of the Year. Their music continues to evolve, resonating with audiences through poignant storytelling and soul-stirring melodies.
