The Bradford Progress: Leeds & Liverpool Canal

17 May 2025

09:00 - 14:00

Leeds & Liverpool Canal

Our musical journey across Bradford District continues on water.

Paraorchestra are joined on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal by musicians from across genres and across the district for a four-hour, four-mile moving performance from Bingley to Saltaire – featuring Liza Bec, the Toby Brazier Quartet, Ey Up Klezmer, Flash Cassette, Steve Varden and Vijay Venkat.

Every musical moment on The Bradford Progress is free with no booking required. Join us on the towpath to catch our musical flotilla as it drifts on by.

Please note
The canal towpath is a public right of way and may become busy. Please take care when visiting, and be considerate of your fellow towpath users.

Part of The Bradford Progress, an unbroken two-day musical journey across Bradford District created by Paraorchestra, artistic director Charles Hazlewood, artist Jeremy Deller and the people of Bradford.
