A Celebration of Youth Music & Creativity in Bingley
Bingley Arts Centre (Main Theatre)
Saturday 21st June | 1:00pm–3:00pm
FREE event – booking required (seated event)
Come and experience the amazing musical talent of Bingley’s young people at this joyful, family-friendly event marking World Make Music Day!
At the heart of the afternoon is the grand premiere of This is Bingley – a brand-new song created by children from six local primary schools, working alongside Bingley’s very own alternative rapper Wilko Wilkes. Wilko will also co-host the event with Bingley Music Town, guiding us through an uplifting programme of youth-led performances.
Expect a packed and feel-good couple of hours, including:
Live performances from local young bands and music acts
On-stage interviews with the young stars
A fun community singalong
A beautiful art exhibition of over 200 Bingley-themed artworks created by local schoolchildren
While tickets are completely free, this is a seated event in the Main Theatre at Bingley Arts Centre, so please book in advance to secure your place.
Refreshments will be available to purchase on the day, and families, friends, neighbours and the wider community are all warmly invited to come along and support Bingley’s burgeoning young talent.
This special event is brought to you by Bingley Music Town, Bingley Arts Centre, and Cllr Susan Fricker.
Let’s come together to celebrate music, creativity and community – this is Bingley!
