Ride Bradford 2025

21 Jun 2025

11:00 - 15:00

Lister Park

A new family focused cycling event is coming to Lister Park from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, 21 June.

Ride Bradford 2025, which is being organised by Bradford Council alongside partners at Capital of Cycling and funded by WYCA though the Active Travel England’s Capability Fund. This will see the park transformed into a pedal-powered paradise.

Nearby roads will be closed off to allow people to experience cycling in a traffic free environment, and they can also ride around a specially marked out route throughout the park itself, taking in views of the iconic Cartwright Hall.

Inside the park will be a variety of activities for all the family to enjoy, whether you’ve brought your bike or not.

Activities on the day include:

BMX pump track
4km traffic-free cycle route
Free minor bike repairs
Mountain bike displays
Security marking
Adapted bikes to try
Food stalls
Information stalls
Ride Bradford 2025 is a free event and there’s no need to book tickets, just turn up on the day. Those driving in the area are urged to plan ahead of their journeys due to the road closures. If you are a part of local business or community organisation and would like to get involved, please contact activetravel@bradford.gov.uk.
