For over three centuries, the mushaira has been a treasured part of the cultural and intellectual fabric of the subcontinent. Traditionally a gathering for poets to share their work, it remains a vibrant platform for creativity, connection, and the celebration of Urdu’s rich literary heritage.
We are delighted to once again present this much-loved annual mushaira, in partnership with the Yorkshire Adabee Forum.
Join us for an evening of captivating poetry from leading Urdu poets from around the world, followed by a delicious dinner and a live musical performance by Pakistani singer-songwriter Fahad Javed.
This event is not suitable for very young children or babes in arms, who will not be admitted. Please book a ticket for every member of your party.
