Mental Health and Recovery Spoken Word Poetry Fundraiser

27 Jul 2024

19:00 - 21:00

City Library

Come join us on a poetic voyage as we share poems with themes of mental health, wellbeing, hope and recovery. This is a Poetry fundraiser to support the NHS voyage to recovery (a patient sailing trip).

Hosted and performances from published Bradford-based poet and spoken word artist Sharena Lee Satti.

Spoken word poetry performances will also be shared from NHS staff, and a limited number of public open mic slots will be available. Share your own poems or simply listen and connect with others through the healing art of poetry.

Thank you to Bradford City Library for kindly allowing us to use their venue!

Please note this event is a poetry performance fundraising event and will not be providing NHS treatment or crisis support ……….. If you are needing urgent mental health support you can call First Response on 0800 952 1181, open 24/7 . Website https://www.bdct.nhs.uk/services/first-response/

if you cant make the 27th July, we have another event on 8th June.
