“LUNCH WITH THE TWELVE APOSTLES”

Baildon Walkers are Welcome Guided Walk to the “12 Apostles” standing stones above Ilkley.

Meet walk leaders Matt Firth & Simon Rebecchi at the Potted Meat Stick, Baildon centre, for a 09:30am start. This 10 mile circular walk initially we will head to the Baildon Hill Trig point to look over the route that lays ahead. The Dales High Way will then take us past Weecher Reservoir and onto Rombalds Moor, leading us to the Twelve Apostles stone circle. After taking in the views over Wharfedale and enjoying our packed lunches, the Welcome Way will then lead us back towards Baildon, returning to the Potted Meat Stick via Sconce for approximately 2.30pm. This is a walk of moderate difficulty.
