We’re celebrating Bradford’s parks in 2025 by making a massive work of art – and we can’t do it without you.
Bradford-based artist Lou Sumray invites you to join her in Wibsey Park to create a gigantic new artwork inspired by Bradford’s open spaces. We’ll be installing a huge blank canvas outside The Beacon, Bradford 2025’s touring venue, and we’d like you to fill it with art.
Drawings, doodles, sketches, paintings – anything goes at this family-friendly drop-in. Everyone’s welcome, admission is free (no need to book), and we’ll provide all the pens, paints and materials you need to make your mark.
Lou will be running more art-making sessions later in 2025, when The Beacon makes its stops in Bowling Park, Cliffe Castle Park and Lister Park – and at the end of the year, the works created by you in all four parks will be combined into one enormous artwork.
