Honeyland

Start your year with a truly captivating cinematic experience! On January 9th, Theatre in the Mill’s Studio will host a screening of Honeyland. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the film will start promptly at 6:00 PM.

This award-winning documentary takes us to the remote, mountainous landscapes of Macedonia, where Hatidze, one of the world’s last wild beekeepers, lives in harmony with nature. Tending to her bees using traditional methods, she sells her honey in nearby villages while ensuring the delicate balance between humanity and the environment is maintained. However, her tranquil existence is disrupted when a nomadic family moves into the area, bringing challenges and ethical conflicts that threaten her way of life.
