Ever dreamed of swimming through the water like a mermaid? Or dancing to the infectious rhythms of Bollywood? Now’s your chance!
Experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a Hollywood Bollywood fusion at Ilkley Lido as a swimmer or dancer, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ilkley Moors.
There will be rehearsals from 10 May to 10 July ahead of a performance on July 12 at Ilkley Lido. Don’t miss your chance to join a diverse group of community performers and create unforgettable memories!

More about the artists
This is a collaboration between Zoobin Surty Company and Yorkshire Life Aquatic supported by Ilkley Lido, Ilkley Lido Community Group and Kala Sangam.
Zoobin Surty is an accomplished artist and choreographer with a broad and comprehensive training in Indian Classical dance forms and contemporary dance. He works extensively with communities across Yorkshire and internationally.
Yorkshire Life Aquatic creates choreography in water and on land inspired by vintage synchronised swimming shows – think Busby Berkeley and Esther Williams. Meet the modern Million Dollar Mermaids.
