The ‘Down to Earth’ exhibition features work by 12 diverse Bradford artists and explores critical environmental themes. The artists work, often using natural or recycled materials, is in mixed media, ceramics, print, sculpture, photography and sound art, and textiles.
Reflecting on the urgent challenges posed by our climate crisis, “Down to Earth” dives deep into our relationship with the environment, addressing profound concerns about land, soil, and the delicate balance of nature.
The exhibition features work by Janet Allsebrook, shi Blank, Carine Brosse, Caro Blount-Shah, Manya Donaque, Louie Haslam-Chance, Phillip Jackson, Christine Kelly, Jodie Posen, Carol Sorhaindo, Rob Walsh and Helen Wood.
The exhibition also includes three Art Workshops open to the public on Saturday 26th October:
Making a terrarium – 12noon to 2pm
Sculpture with plastic materials – 12noon to 2pm
Cyanotype printing – 11.30am to 1.30pm.
