Trees are an integral part of the natural world and our well-being. Join fellow Bradford residents on a free half-day course that will help you to connect with nature and improve your tree knowledge and skills.
Branch out with your learning on this beginners’ introduction to woodlands. You will start with some simple woodland ecology to reveal more about how these giants of the plant kingdom function and appreciate their importance within the environment. You will then head outside for practical tips to begin summer field identification of the most common species.
This course will include:
Understanding broad woodland habitat types
Practical experience identifying features in a woodland structure and looking for pests and disease
Choose from 10am-1pm or 2pm-5pm for your free half day course
