An exhibition to mark 160 years of railway history in Ilkley and its impact on the town.

Learn about this fascinating aspect of Ilkley's past, including the railway's opening in August 1865, its expansion in the 1880s, and the effects of the Beeching cuts in the 1960s.

This exhibition runs on weekends from 9 to 25 August. The final day of this exhibition is Monday, 25 August, as the House will be open during the performance of Bard in the Yard.

Ilkley Manor House is open on weekends from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free unless stated otherwise; no booking is required. Please check the website and our social media for the latest updates before visiting.

Accessibility Information
This event will take place in the Western Gallery, accessible from the ground floor via a staircase of 18 steps. Please note that there is no lift to the upstairs area.
