Brontë Festival of Women’s Writing: Clare Wallace, Darley Anderson Children’s Book Agency

20 Sep 2024

15:30 - 17:00

West Lane Baptist Church, Haworth

For our first event, we welcome Clare Wallace to share her work as a children’s book agent, discussing her career, what an agent does, and advice on submitting work.

Clare will give her top tips for creating a great submissions package, and there’ll be an opportunity to ask questions. This session is perfect for aspiring or early career writers, or those interested in hearing more about publishing.

This event is part of our 2024 Brontë Festival of Women’s Writing.

This event will be livestreamed and recorded for our digital festival attendees. Find out more about attending the festival online here.

Your host for the event will be Angela Clare, Programme Officer at the Brontë Parsonage Museum.
