Bradford Queer Film Festival is delighted to present TOPS (2024), dir. Ames Pennington followed by a Q&A with the Director.

Self-proclaimed future award winning documentary filmmaker Ames Pennington presents their landmark documentary series, TOPS. Asking the question that defines the trans masc experience in the UK today: “What TOP did you wanna wear after TOP surgery?”

Ames will join us in person for a post screening Q&A hosted by Kit Heyem.

Kit (they/he) is a writer and historian and a co-organiser of Leeds Queer Film Festival. They are the author of Before We Were Trans: A New History of Gender and a nominee for the Lambda Literary Award in Transgender Nonfiction.
