Our one-to-one advice sessions with our Bradford Producing Hub Champions are one-off meetings where artists and creatives can discuss a specific area relating to their specialism.
Our Environmental Champion, Jamie can offer advice on pretty much anything relating to environmental sustainability in the creative and cultural industries, including but not limited to:
- Conducting environmental impact assessments, both manually and using the Creative Climate tools from Julie’s Bicycle
- Development of environmental policies and action plans
- Operational impact reduction (e.g. power reduction, waste management strategies, audience travel and transport initiatives)
- Sustainable design principles (e.g. circular economy principles and Theatre Green Book)
- Environmental responsibility in funding applications (e.g. Arts Council England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund)
These sessions are open to Bradford artists, creative freelancers and organisations. The sessions can be tailored for wherever you are on your sustainability journey, whether you’re only just starting to get to grips with your environmental impact, or you’re already making reductions and want to know how you can do more.
We have both in-person and online slots available. Jamie’s sessions are 45 minutes long.
Please be aware that our in-person timeslots take place at Assembly, Bradford. This venue is only accessible by stairs. If you would like to meet Jamie in person at an accessible venue, please drop us an email at hello@bdproducinghub.co.uk.
