Bradford, a city rich with artistic diversity and historical significance, boasts a fantastic array of museums and galleries, each offering a unique experience.

Bolling Hall

Located just a mile from Bradford city centre and situated in a quiet, leafy garden, Bolling Hall Museum offers visitors a fascinating journey through the lives and times of the Bradford families for whom it provided a home over five hundred years.

Bradford Industrial Museum

Based in Moorside Mills, Eccleshill, Bradford Industrial Museum hosts regular machine demonstrations and permanent displays of textile machinery and vehicles, along with an exciting exhibitions programme.

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery

Nestled in Lister Park just outside of Bradford city centre, Cartwright Hall was purpose built on the former site of Manningham Hall and opened as a gallery in 1904. It offers an exciting programme of exhibitions, alongside permanent galleries displaying items predominantly (but not exclusively) from their art collections.

Cliffe Castle Museum

Cliffe Castle was originally built in the 1880s as the home of Victorian millionaire and textile manufacturer, Henry Isaac Butterfield. Visitors can see sparkling Victorian rooms, furniture paintings, and decorative art. There are also galleries specialising in natural history, archaeology and social history, alongside the internationally important display of stained glass by Morris and Co.
