Heres a little bit about Andrew’s fantastic career.

Coming from an early background in cinematography he has directed some of the most high-profile dramas of recent years. In 2020 he completed several episodes and the finale of the highly anticipated female-led teen thriller Get Even, for Netflix and BBC.

Andrew has worked with some of the UK’s most acclaimed actors including John Simm in the Emmy-winning and BAFTA nominated Life on Mars, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Sophie Okonedo in Doctor Who, David Morrissey, Harry Treadaway and Felicity Jones in Cape Wrath, Stephen Tomkinson and Hayley Mills in Wild at Heart, not to mention Olivia Colman, Liz White, Andy Serkis and Ian Hart.

Andrew’s passion for compelling performance and potent visual storytelling is apparent from his exceptionally crafted episodes for Netflix, BBC, Channel 4 and ITV and his work on hit shows such as Survivors, Primeval and the BAFTA-winning sitcom Green Wing starring Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig, for which he created the signature visual style.

His ‘Camberwick Green’ episode of the Emmy-winning Life on Mars delighted fans and attracted exceptionally high viewing figures.

For Matt Smith’s first outing as Doctor Who, Academy Award nominee Sophie Okonedo joined Andrew in one of two gripping and critically praised episodes. Audience favourite Victory of the Daleks made British television history with the inception of the brand-new ‘über’ Daleks.

Andrew also directed the feature-length adaptation of David Almond’s Clay for the BBC, starring Academy Award nominee and BAFTA winner Imelda Staunton.

With occasional forays into short films Andrew directed, produced and co-wrote The Caravan, a genre-bending trilogy of shorts that encompass thriller, human drama and ultra-dark comedy. Starring Ian Puleston-Davies (Tin Star, Pennyworth) and the late David Warner (Tron, Star Trek, Titanic), the films achieved Official Selection at The Leeds International Film Festival.
